Hi I am a intermediate bump and jump windsurfer on my RRD FSW 96 ltr and a intermediate foiler with my Horue Tiny 105 ltr with slingshot infinity 76 foil and weigh 72 KG

I can buy a JP Freestyle Wave 94 Pro from 2022 with a powerbox foil approved finbox

I think about combining both boards together on one FSW foil board but I am curious how a JP Freestyle Wave 94 Pro foils with a NP powerbox foil compared to my present Horue Tiny 105 ltr with slingshot infinity 76 foil

Has anyone advise?

Hi.
I have JP FSW 103 LXT 2021 and Pryde Glide Slim M. Because of this combo I sell my SS Infinity 76 foil. JP/Glide is OK combination for foiling, but is back foot oriented. Foiling stance is not natural, as it would be on foil dedicated board (I also have some of them). It requires also changing footstrap position from foiling to fin. If you want really push into foiling, I think that you'll eventualy need a foil dedicated board (now my most used foiling board is Patrik AIO 5'9'' with Glide Slim M).

Lucas explains very nicely how you can shim your stabilizer to make it less back foot heavy and maybe so you do not need to move your straps

This kind of board might be better if the plan is to fin and foil as you can use the tracks to push foil forward and use the same strap positions

Sorry meant that a board with tracks forward of the fin box might be better if you want to fin and foil on same board. not sure how much the tracks will affect planning performance

UPDATE: last week I bought the JP Freestylewave 2022 94 ltr pro ed. with powerbox foilbox and tried this board with a NP glide 80 cm mast , foil with S (63 cm) and M (74 cm) front wing and a Small rear wing. It worked very wel!!!! I mounted the 4 footstraps in the standard outboard position and a completed with a Gun Torro 5,7 freemove sail, I can just uphaul the sail with my 73 KG, in minimal conditions about 12 knts wind. Some pumping with the sail to get up and GO! It foils quite simular to my Horue Tiny 105 ltr and slingsot infinity foil. But on the FSW the footstraps are in the correct position for relaxed foiling! I mounted no shim on the rear wing and the balance is good. The small front wing foils better and faster compared the to large frontwing. It is even easyer to stand in the straps on the JP board then the Horue. Only gybing is more a balancing act on the fsw because it is mutch smaller (61 cm wide compared to 75 cm).

Glad to hear that you had success. What is the distance between the center of the mast base and the powerbox screw if someone wants to copy your set up?

Does enyone knows of you can jump with this neil pryde glide powerbox foil?

The single bolt is the weak link , maybe if you are a lightweight. I only see people jumping on slingshot foils near me
