There was not much info available about how the Crossover Windfoil / SUP boards work for windfoiling (and SUPfoiling/Surfing).

Which foils do you use for Windfoiling and how do the boards ride?
How do these boards SUP, SUPfoil or Wavewindfoil?
What ist good or could be improved?

I ride a custom made board since 3 years now, a Stubby/Tomo shape, 8 x 30", 245 x 77 cm, 130 liters, flat rocker like AHD Sealion, two Deep tuttle boxes, one advanced, one an the back (retrofitted).
I used the Mantafoil for learing in the forward box, now i use a Aeromod Carbonfoil in the rear box.
The board works really good with both foils (if you want i could give more details).
For SUP i feel the flat (Sealion) rocker now more and more limiting my cutbacks in bigger waves (Portugal in summer).

Now i get a new custom made board with a real SUP shape and more rocker for better cutbacks.
I has a rearward deeptuttle box for the Aeromod and for SUPfoiling i get two US-boxes in a advanced position.
But i have not purchased a SUPfoil yet, i'm looking at Slingshot right now.
The board is build by MOJO custom boards right now (located in Hungary, but perfectly english speaking), the boards are build like the Flikka boards, just a little cheaper and shorter building/delivery times (if you want i could give also more details).

I'm looking forward to your experiences.

Hi Alex, I am new to foiling, I have been windsurfing for 35 years and started sup surfing for about 7 years, I am looking to get myself a hybrid wind/sup foilboard, I currently use a Takuma V100 foil on my 10 foot sup, what is your experience with the Mojo board ?

I use the takuma 7'10" bx board. It is 30 inches wide and 138 litres. I am 80 kg. Have not surfed it yet but used it for windfoiling with the Slingshot Infinity 84 wing. I find it easy to uhaul and feels good in the air. It recovers well from breaches. Have not used anything else so cannot compare. Foils early and I find it easy to use. You need to stand more over the board and not lean out against the sail. The board has a plate mount and comes with plastic quad fins. I like the board and although not light seems quite durable.

Hi Hover 62,
which other foilparts do you use with the 84? Which rear wing, Standard or the bigger one that comes with the FSUP foil?
I'm thinking of switching my FSurf Infinity 76 frontwing to the 84, but without the bigger rear wing.
The 76 could have more lift for me, 90kg, supfoiling in small waves and windfoiling in light winds with a small sail.

Hi,
i'm quite happy with the board, in every aspect.
- Windfoiling with a dedicated Aeromod windfoil, footstrap + masttrack position are perfect, the inclined (important with a high rocker board) deeptuttlebox is strong, board and tailwidth also perfect, beveled rails forgiving in touchdowns
- SUPsurfing, good stabilitiy, fast on smaller waves, turns nice even in tight cutbacks, Quad finsetup
- SUPfoiling, only a few flights, but my Slingshot Infintiy 76 frontwing seems to have not enough lift for smallish waves, will change to the Infinity 84
- SUP flatwater, for such a small board ist ok, manageable row, due to the parallel rails
- Windsuping in Waves, amazing and alot of fun, i use it with a 20cm Centerfin and the 2 sidefins, turns without much railpressure
- really strong construction, no issues so far, but a little bit heavy

Hi Alex. I am using the fsurf parts. So the shorter fuselage, a 30 inch mast which was an extra and I purchased the larger rear stabilizer. I have the smaller one as well but have not tried it. I used it on the top of the fuselage to start till I found out it should be on the bottom. It seemed to generate more lift that way, although was still learning so could have just been me not knowing better. I put the mast back on fuselage, not in the wing. The 84 infinity wing has great lift and in lulls I can pump the foil and carry on when the wind does have enough power in he sail. I plan to buy the longer fuselage for windfoiling, although the short one works fine. I do not find the 84 is slow but in would not say it is really quick either. I have fun on it so that is all that mattes to me. Have not used it in waves yet but hopefully soon.

Nicolas at Zeeko is testing a one board Wind/Sup/Surf foiling at moment.

I own a naish thrust ws1 that I've been using on an adapted old fashioned freestyle board (250x60). Not a perfect fit, but good enough for enjoying last months (budget priorities...)

Now it's time to buy a better board for foiling and I'm interested in the naish hover series, but not sure about 122lts dedicated one or the 120lts crossover.

I would prefer de crossover one, but I'm afraid it wouldn't match very well with the WS foil as the crossover has the us-box tracks much forward and also the WS foil has the mast much backward on the fuselage.

The crossover has the usbox tracks almost 20cm forward than the hover. and also the WS foil has the mast almost 10cm backward in the fuselaje. Both things together would make the front wing to be placed 30cm more forward under the board .... seems to be too much.
Maybe, both things together would be a problem...

To "partially" correct this, the mast-track and footstrap inserts seem to be placed 10cm forward in the crossover board, but maybe not enough...

Has anyone experience in this combination?

I have the 120 Crossover and it has some tail rocker where as the 122 is dead flat.
This could be the reason for track etc positioning.

I've got both Naish hover 122 and the crossover board and can confirm that the crossover works great with the WS1 thrust foil... feels more agile

I was wondering if anyone has info on the board below. It has a full EVA deck, mast track (I believe), chined rails and a stepped tail. It appears briefly in the new Neil Pryde 2019 video. I'm not even sure if it has footstrap inserts.

That's a fantastic information!! Now I'm completed messed again!!

Would you please tell us the main differences riding both boards:
- early planning
- control on the air
- stability and comfort
- uphauling

I suppose 122 should be better for almost every thing but SUPing.

Do you have 2019 or 2018 model?.
122 is almost the same, but crossover I like it more in 2018 shape.

Papenoo is a nice option, 7'7" is the longest I would like to ride (even shorter is the tendency, I'm afraid). Thanks I didn't know it.

Mojo could be an option, but in Spanish that word sounds coarse!
Your board looks very nice, but on mojo website all of them look quite traditional shapes. I suppose they can innovate in shapes if you ask for.

I guess they had the english meaning of Mojo in mind choosing their name.

On their Mojo Hp you only find their "Serial" shapes.
For my board just ask for the "Taxi of Alex", they have this board in CAD Data and can reproduce it with their CNC-shaping mill.
Scaling it up or down is also no problem with their CAD.

This is a 2019 SUPfoilboard with windsurf option.
Big drawback for me would be that i can't use it for classic supsurfing (but you can't do that with any dedicated supfoil board).
