I've been looking for a helmet and ordered two, and had to return both because of poor fit. I recently came across these: dmcfins.com/collections/accessories

Anyone here use these or know people that do? I like that it's sure to fit my head. I'm less sure of how well it would protect against a knock on a foil. I think it would be ok - even if I'm sailing fast, my relative speed vs the foil isn't that great.

I see some of the windsurfers and foilers using martial helmets (similar to these) at our beach and likely provide good protection but I do not like it due to bulky nature of these helmets. I also like to have my ears completely free to feel free air motion and open for any sound for coming traffic in the water. I am using baseball hats that comes with hardshell under the cap.
