Hi guys!

I've always had trouble finding good washers for mounting foils in deep tuttle/foil boxes. Most conventional ones either don't fit in the hole or they bend over time.

So I designed some that fit perfectly to my boards and asked my friend to laser cut them from stainless steel:



Being a good friend he made A LOT of them - way more than I need. They fit STARBOARD, PHANTOM, FANATIC etc. (basically most brands that produce boards in Cobra International). So if anyone needs some, send me a message. I am based in EU.

Also If you reaaaaaally want some for another board brand, I can make those as well.

AFS make a nice carbon plate for flat decks (still need stainless washers, though)

They look the goods. Just finished altering the large washers on my foil to suit my new board, and thought half way through that it would be better to have washers that fitted over the whole oval surface. These look perfect.
how much you charging?

Why not use longer screws and a big washer plate on the top surface of the board? This gets the load onto the top skin where it belongs.

If they fit Starboard they'll be too big for Severne as I found out with the ones I ordered from France. However ten minutes on a grinder and all is good.

This is where I got the idea! But these were too thin (2 mm?) and they bent. Mine are made from a 4 mm stainless steel plate, hope they last longer

Thank you! If they are thick enough they should be ok. I'd love to send some to you but I have to check what the shpping cost would be like since I am from EU.

This is actually a great idea but my boards have an uneven (recessed) surface there. And longer screws would be easier to break.

Good on you for offering an improvement based on your experiences. Were they bending under the load of a racing or freeride foil? I've usually doubled up on my washers for similar reasons.
