Crazy fun yesterday in mushy waves, unrideable without a foil.
Stoked to film Jonah getting quality time on his windfoil gear

I didn't want to cut out any of the froth so the vid's long - also fits the song
iPhone12 camera

Ride waves, countless carves downwind, fly back upwind at 18 knots - what's not to love about windfoiling

Great video and frothing wave riding.

Mr Smooth looking great as always on his M Oz custom.

Interesting to see the Severne gear in the waves. The Predator looks sweet. What size board and front wing was Jonah on?

Great vid! Compare with Simons board i would say predator 95, 185x64cm, redwing 1000.
This is the best vid i have seen so far from the predator.

I will watch this over and over again tomorrow on the plane, its awesome.

Hope JJ gets an unlimited supply of the golden liquid for filming that whilst the conditions were firing, I would be getting ancy as all get out, he has patience of a saint

Great video. It gets me excited to foil in waves again. It reminds me that foiling turns those crapy windsurfing days into so much fun.

Great wave riding Simon on the new board. Can't wait to try my custom out this fall.

Takes a lot of restraint not to ditch the cam and grab your foil.Agree legend for making so many sweet vids always inspiring.

Big Thanks to JJ for clambering out onto the end of the Dutchies groin to get the pics. Amazing quality from an I phone!

The board was the predator 95 and the smaller red wing 1000, 90cm mast and 250 rear wing. I was on a 4.8 and Simon on a 4.2.
Both Simon and my board have a volume distribution so you can pretty much bog around in the straps and then just pump up onto the foil when you get a gust. I'm 85kg and use the 95 in any wind strength, I don't think I need anything bigger but when really windy an 85 would be nice!

Was heaps of fun, I've been doing a fair bit of dinging but so good to get back on the wind foil with the other frothers (JJ is THE biggest Frother of all.legend!!).

Cheers all

Was superfun that day on the water and filming.
Mushy waves are so epic on foil, astonished that every wavesailer is not yet into it.
It's impossible to capture with video the level of buzz you feel flying down wave faces and carving turns - or the true speed because there's no wake/spray from the foils.

They're riding 10-50m from the end of a rock groyne that extends about 40m into the sea.
Both have the skills needed to confidently foil through the turbulence near the rocks, to get close to the camera

I mostly limit the video to 5x magnification for decent resolution (7 max).
Image stabilization in the iPhone is great, also helps if you can hold the camera still which is a little tricky in the wind and spray.
Constantly wipe the lens.
We're a niche of a niche so I'd be stoked to see more vids - don't need fancy cameras.

Awesome, thanks !. Your video's are super smooth. Great work. My video gear is ready, but no wind for weeks. Soon I hope.
