This is indeed a very good tutorial. As a beginner myself two things stand out: (1) feet position before/after you take off, and (2) "wind tunnel" between your legs.
This is what I am getting out f the video: foot movement from displacement to foiling is kind of the opposite of windsurfing (from displacement to planing). You either put both feet in the straps before you take off, or If you have just the front foot strap you
do not move the foot
back when you start to take off!!!! The back foot is locked in place (Look at 5'). If anything you do the opposite of windsurfing (5'45"): move the back foot f
orward the second you are on the foil to keep the board down.
For leg position (2) is useful because the normal windsurf position effectively closes the space between your legs, while the upright foil position keeps that space open. Keeping the tunnel open is a good reminder.
Lots of other good stuff, circular pumping, jibing, and very nice board carrying moves.
