Fun little project !

We spend 5 min on the net doing our research on hydrofoils on windsurfboards and came up with some solid engineering, let us know what you think !

Is it going to be hammering down the bay or is it going to explode on us on it's maiden run !

Looks like we'll be taking it for a spin later today, we'll keep you posted !

Hey Marty - looks like it! This isn't me - just found some YouTube clips.

Will it work? I'm sure it will once bolted in the right position. But more importantly..... Will it loop??

Hydrofoil session one ended in a epic fail, looks like we need more than 10 knots !

Does the foil need to go forward more ?

Yeah this is what we were thinking. When we drew on the board the idea was to have it a little further forward...

I dont think it will matter unless your using sails under a 6.0.

But then again, i have no idea!

Having no idea is the best way to start I reckon, no preconceived ideas to muddle your progress, soon enough you'll crack it on your own. It can be hard earned knowledge but then you become an authority rather than just a copier.
I'm sure there's a measurable relationship between the position of the mast foot, the foil and your back foot.
Where'd you score the Scarfini foil from ?
