Awesome. Board looks like it has its volume spread out on a wider area, thinner than many foil boards.

Also looks like I counted 5 different windfoilers in that video, nice

Definitely something to be said about strapless windfoiling.

I foiled strapless this summer with a rental. Let's just say it's an acquired taste that I did not acquire... I just feel like I can direct and drive the board so much better with the front strap. In this context, however, with tight turns in a very limited space, I do see how it might be preferred. Pierre's skills and the video are first rate.

That board's tail cries out for the same treatment that I did on mine that had a similar design originally.

Great vid and awesome skills.

Interesting to see Pierre tacking and uphoauling the 110lt, guessing the 29" width would have helped the stability.

Seeing this has thrown yet another board in my sights for a potential upgrade, without being rude any ideas on how much this guy weighs?

Hey Panno, I am 85kg. The front wing is 1100cm2, covers a great wind range (easier to control compared to larger "manta" style wings) and very playful. The combo works well for stand-up foiling/ wing foiling and is very stiff for a aluminum/ carbon hybrid...The tack is tricky at first, but you learn quickly where to put your feet and can move around on the spot even when the wind is very light and you need a wave to take-off...Cheers

Congratulations!! One of the best WWF videos I've ever seen. Could you tell us the wind strength and sail size? Not possible waterstart?

Did you have shore break to get in and out or a flat spot?

Thanks

Beautiful! Bad @$$ sailing. I roll strapless too. My board has more inserts than I can count but I wish they were all gone to save the weight.

Wind was about 18 knots - Pierre was on a 4.4m.
He waterstarts easily - just showing how well balanced the board is with the quick uphaul in the video.

There was maybe a 0.5-1m shorebreak that day, not a biggie - the hidden rocks when walking out are more of an issue.

Pierre SUP foils this same Simmer board/foil combo - I'll try and get a vid

Hi again Azymuth

Do you know if this simmer foil fuselage is 75 cm or 95 cm? I've seen both lengths on the net. The stability in the video suggests 95 cm and the manoeuvrability 75 cm.

Thanks.
