Have anyone tried the Starboard freeride 1100cm2 plus?
Im thinking of upgrade my freeride with a 95cm plus fuselage.

do you mean using 1100 freeride front wing on a 95+ fuselage ?
if yes, it's just an awesome combo in any conditions !
BUT you need to have the 255 stab, the 330 dosen't work well with that setup.

Hi - are you asking if anyone has tried the SB freeride 1100 wing with 95+ fuse?
If that is the question then the answer is 'yes'
I have used the 1100 freeride front wing with the 95 plus fuse and the 330 rear wing. (with the 95 cm carbon mast).
I only have 3 sessions under my belt using that setup (with my SB 150L freeride board)
The first 2 sessions were great - winds were probably 12-17 knots. Very stabile ride and good average speed around 16-17 knots - top speed of 19.5 or so.
Yesterday I went out in brutal conditions with winds 22-25ish knots - not a good experience as I was overpowered and had too much lift. Looking back I should have rigged a 4.0.
Still learning the setup - but I like what I have experienced thus far. I used to foil on a 160L Levitator with i76, i84 and i99. Yesterday the Levi, i76, 4.0 would have been a better choice (for me - at my skill level).

Hi - interesting comment about the 255 vs 330 stab. I assume you have tried both - can you explain your experience?
As I mentioned in my comment - I have only two quality sessions under my belt with the 1100/330 combo and I'm still figuring it out.

yes I'm lucky enough to have plenty of starboard gear to play with, the 330 is mostly intended to work well with the 75 fuse
it will be okayish.. with the 95+ but as soon as wind peaks up you'll be loosing stability and mostly breaching a lot !
It doesn't help to take off earlier compared to the 255 and you do loose a lot of sped with it.

try to borrow a 255 you'll never look back !!

if you were to only have one set up, the 95+fuse/255 stab and whatever front wing you choose is top notch !

Thank you for that comment - I think I have a couple of guys who will let me give it a go.
It's certainly a no-brainer if the 330 rear doesn't help you getting on foil earlier than the 255 ...
I find it odd though that the GT-R Plus package comes with the 800 wing (which I also have), the 330 rear and the 95 plus fuse.

Yes. I changed to a 95cm fuselage. The front and rear wings are standard (1100 and 500 sq. cms.)

I definitely prefer the new configuration. It brings the centre of lift forward by about 10 cms, which better suits my stance. Also, flight height adjustments are not as sensitive, which suits my "cruising" mindset.

So, it's personal preferences as to whether the longer fuselage might be better for you.

Have several foils at the moment.
Have used my freeride SB foil for 2years now and now offers beginners to use it. Upgrade with a 85cm mast and now will get the 95 plus fuselage.
Have tried 1100/75/330 before and quite fast combo
If you buy a freeride plus 1100/95/500
Must be huge different to change to a 330 or 255 backwing.
But the 500 backwing must be great for beginners.

jus buy the bits and pices you need, the 500 is purely beginner gear and you already have the 330 !
difference is not "huge" from 330 to 255 , it's mind blowing !!

Well purchase the 255 wing at once??

We use the 95 plus fuselage mostly all of the time now, rather then the 75's or 115 cm.
We always use the 255tw as it just doesn't need a larger stab.

my wife has recently changed from the freeride 1100/550, 75 fuselage to the 1100/255, 95+ fuselage running a 0.5 deg shim, and she really loves it on her Starboard freeride 125.

However, you've got to be careful that the Coe matches the foil board.
whilst this setup absolutely matches the 2020 Starboard freeride boards, she has had real difficulty with this set up in her larger 2020 jp135.

The Starboard straps are 5.5cm further forward than the JP, so the foil feels balanced on this board. But on the JP 135, this creates too much lift, and is a wild ride when it gets windy.

Even moving the lift back, by moving to a standard 95 fuselage and playing with mast foot position, isn't perfect, as the board wants to ride on its v in its forward section, so ploughs through the water and isn't as easy to lift up.
The Starboard in comparison has a much flatter forward, has less drag, so gets up sooner.

So bottom line, whilst this foil setup is a great combination, it may not work with your foil board, and increase frustration

Are you using the 255 rear stab that comes with -2 or the one that comes as 0?

I've been on the SB 1100 for a while now. My combo:
Wing: 1100
Stab: 255 (have tried the 330)
Fuse: 115
Mast: 110

I'm able to fly around 5-6 knots of boat speed. I experimented with the 330 and the 255. The biggest difference is the pitch resistance you get. When changing the altitude, the 330 is less to react (you need a lot more input). the 255 seems like a perfect balance. if you had the 95cm fuse, the 330 will respond quicker to inputs.

I have both the Falcon Foil 175 and the JP 135 and struggle using the 255 stab on the 95 fuse with the 800 front. Much more back foot pressure is required and pitch stability is constantly variable. When I switch to the 330 stab, all problems disappear. Speed is similar to me. Have done 26 kts + regularly with the 330. ( I'm using Loft Skyscapes)

We are using the the standard 255 stab.
The -2 deg 255 would be useful with the 115 plus fuselage
