Saw that some of the Slingshot crew are on masts 125+!

Have just gone from 95 to 110 mast, especially got it for Supercruiser in bigger swells - loving it so far, better for carving and dealing with changes in ride height, not essential but definitely more secure with bigger margin before foil breaches - and of course works great for Race/GTR as well

Downside? If my reflexes get sloppy at Lake Illawarra, can end up high enough to worry about aircraft flight paths ...
Anyone else going longer mast for rough waters?

I tried the 110 and didn't like it. Partially because I had to swim my gear in/out significantly further but also because it felt much less reactive to both swells and carving.
I think oddly enough if I was interested in flat water carving tricks or going fast through chop I would have preferred it.

Most course slalom foilers here in SF Bay are using 100-110 masts and similar length fuselages.
Don't hit any underwater obstructions. The launch can be "interesting".
I'm experimenting in the other direction, 65 cm and short fuze for S turns and windswell riding. I do have a 90cm mast in the garage.

I've been on the 110 since it came out. Other than colder water/days, I'm almost always on my 110. I bought it due to waves in lakes that might be 2-2.5 feet. But I ended up just loving it enough, that's all I foil on.

Maybe noticed that slightly slower reaction times, but that turns out to be a positive as 110 feels a better match with my Stingray 140 somehow - foiling is so reactive anyway, especially with my 95+kg, everything feels a bit smoother and balanced
