You guys are great jibers.
I've been tracking minimum jibe speeds since it was added to GPS Speedreader. This was an example from my second session ever this morning with the older Starboard 550 front wing/105+ fuse and 6.0 sail in something like 15-20kts.
I wasn't really focusing on jibing, just trying to get the new sail/front wing sorted and get a new speed PB (23.8 kts for me today). But, I could tell that my jibes were faster than they were on other wings. I was burning a lot of speed after my runs during the downwind portion as it was feeling a bit sensitive to me and I wasn't used to it.
That said, those were my fastest mins at 12kts through the turns. The above data is showing I have a lot of room to improve

.
Even with slowing down purposefully before the jibes I am still getting an alpha of 17kts or so.
On freeride gear, which recently has only been the ptm 926 on 7.0 and down, I can jibe clean without touchdowns sometimes but the speed is only about 10kts. On IQFoil setup with 9.0/900 it's similar for me, but a lot of the time on those two setups I am in fairly light stuff and trying not to get backwinded.
The experience on the 550 and 6.0 today was very different, with a very neutral feeling sail during the jibes but me feeling in a bit of an awkward position. I found myself sheeting out a bit too much during them but I didn't feel the heavy sail drag or foil drag that I usually feel on bigger stuff. A lot more glide with less resistance..until I touch the water anyway.
