So we're at least 6 months to a year after release of the Phantasm (Phantom) line of wings and information is still thin on the ground. Some of them sound like they might be interesting wind foil options:

PTM684
The perfect step down from the PFI730 in strong winds or bigger swell? More speed and agility ... whats not to like!
slingshotsports.com/products/ptm-684mm-front-wing-v1

Can't find a review on it anywhere so who knows.

PTM730
Is this the new i65? The hard changer of the new line!
slingshotsports.com/products/ptm-730mm-front-wing-v1-655-cm2-ha

See if you can find a review.

PTM1001
The super glider ... could this be used for lighter wind swell riding?
slingshotsports.com/products/ptm-1001mm-front-wing-v1-1119-cm2-ha

MacKiteboarding are the only ones to review with a wing and they loved. So could it be teased into swell riding up and down wind with a sail? Who knows.

So why should Slingshot have gone with Phantom and not Phantasm?

Phantom
- a figment of the imagination
- not real; illusory

So has anyone seen or used one of these illusive Phantom wings?

Rewind,

I hear the frustration regarding inventory on Phantasm and the only way is to work with your local store and get them to place an order for your set up (there are wait times though).

Slingshot changed tack shortly after releasing the Phantasm, so you now choose a mast type (and there is quite the choice) and then you choose the lower (fuse, front wing and rear wing).

There are so many combinations and so its next to impossible to have an inventory of everything because wingers, wind foilers, kiters and prone foilers all will choose different set ups!

With regards to the PTM1001, PTM730, PFI684, PFI834 etc. they have either not arrived, or the only way was to order the complete lower package. Time will eventually work out the knots and the wait is well worth it I can assure you
