Hi all has anyone had any experience of rigging the Hg2 on a standard SDM opposed to the slightly slimmer Apex ?. Just wondering whether it mignt be possible etc

I sold my hg 2s and gave away a an old standard diameter 490(the width before apex) with it. Was suprised how well it rotated, and it looked fine so far as how it set. It was a severne 90% though. can't comment on how well they'll work on a different brand CC.

I know one thing. ..the narrower the better. .
For me anyway.

I tried four(!) SDM masts that I owned, and none them worked (no rotation and weird look) until I bought Apex blue line. I've read on Severne site at that time that Apex masts were more hard top AND hard bottom masts. Same story with a HG1 that I bought used on Bonaire.
