I have the 926.and a G800 wing. I like them both . (I also have a 730.but never used it)

what would be a good higher wind wing ? son far my top speed is 25mph ( approx. 21 kts). As I approach that speed with my current wings it seems that I am starting to max it out. I know better skill can get it faster. But wonder if a smaller wing for when I want to push it faster would be better (easier) ? Any suggestions ? Phantasm stuff is getting more difficult to obtain ??

Depends on what you mean by higher wind...
Ptm899 is my daily driver (4.2 or 3.7)
Ptm799 is my high wind foil (wound 3.7 or 3.4)
Ptm701 is for nuclear conditions (3.0+)

All with the 340 stabilizer.

(Can easily top 25mph with ptm926 and ps360)

I thought about diff size stabilizers . What could I expect switch to smaller stab ? Is it more pitch sensitive ? Do I need to go fast to get the benefit of a smaller stab ?

I used t.o run the 360 stab and it seemed to speed up the g800 a bit then switched to the 340 and ran it with g800 and ptm799 that 360 just sits collecting dust to me the 340 is just has a better feeling some may not agree.Your first couple of goes on either of the smaller stabs may seem loose in yaw but the pitch is the same as the 400.

I started a PTM 926 with PS 400 stab. Then I changed to the PS 340 stab. It's more pitch sensitive, but you get used to this very quickly. The benefits of looseness and increased speed are well worthwhile. I then changed to the PTM 899 front wing which is now my go to combo with the PS 340. It points higher, glides better, turns better and goes faster. The 899/340 combo tops out at 20 kts for me. I suppose I could go faster with better technique, but I don't chase speed, I chase waves, so top speed is not a priority. If speed is what you want you should be looking at high aspect 700mm2 front foils or smaller (eg PTM 799 or Sabfoil Medusa 769)

I have been looking at a smaller wing in the 800ish cm2. Basically when using a small wing. Your on a bigger sail , takes more speed through water to get up on it.
normally I am fine just cruising around.but lately want to try an push it faster..(need for speed ??)

27 mph is my max with the sab 769 and SS360 tail. I rode the 340 for a couple months, but i could blow out the tail pretty easily is hard heel side turns. I couldn't go any faster with it though as it was pretty pitchy in gusty winds. Reduced control meant I probably couldn't push it hard enough (or I was too scared ??). I prefer carvability over speed though. The 769 is way smaller than the surface area than the PFI 730 and the G800, but it only got me a few more MPH, so take that for FWIW.

Anyone considering using the one lock system? Obviously, the fuselage length is going to be shorter and the front wing will be closer to the foil mast. But these are things that some of us have tried and it's totally doable to windfoil with it. I'd be really into a full carbon setup because of the corrosion resistance.

I'll give the onelock a try windfoiling one of these days... judging from the glide925 vs the ptm899, the mast will need to be moved forward about 4" to balance, so long foil tracks are a must.

I windfoiled on the phantasm 710 fuselage for a while, but once I got an 872, I never went back.

Know a guy in the gorge that is windsurf foiling an Axis setup with a short fuse but he does ride strapless I think that's the key to making it work.
