Any one picked up the new SS Infinity 65? Its just being released in NA but not in stock. Interested in reviews especially any comparisons to Time Code 68.

I've used it once, but was underpowered so dont have a strong opinion on it yet. Also I am still tweaking the settings (strap positioning, mast base and foil mast position) on my freestyle 115 so things have been up in the air.

So picked up my 65 yesterday. Hoping to get out over the weekend. Here are a couple pics of the TC68 vs the Infinity 65. Quoted surface area TC68 1101 cm2, Infinity65 - 841 cm2.

Outside of the dimensional differences there is a huge difference in the weight. Build is thinner for the 65i
TC68 - 1857 gr
Infinity65 - 842 gr

A whole kilo? I can't imagine what they used for the core. Or else it's less carbony than the appearance suggests.

Its thinner overall but cannot say if there is also a material difference. The weight difference is very noticeable. On that line I stripped everything apart tonite, and retaped and lubed. Took weights as I was doing this.

The Wizard board came in at 7.9 kg. Weights are based on using the 90.5 cm mast.

Foilnut, is that Wizard weight with straps and pads?

Good point. No straps. Pads don't come off. I had straps off for waves foiling

That must be the 2019 wizard. I think the 2018 are much heavier( More durable??)

I had my infinty 65 delivered last week (UK Based) had a good session on the Infinty 76 gusty conditions on Bala lake. changed to the Infinity 65, to be expected it needs a good amount more boardspeed to get foiling and is twitchier, felt great though but till take a few more sessions to dial in. Glide through lulls was excellent.

Agreed. Sailed my 65 yesterday in really gusty dropping conditions. Once I was up it easily hit a cruising speed of 17 knots (when checking) zipping past the 76 folier. I was under powered maybe gust were 18-20 knots and i was on a 3.7. Wyatt said it tops out around 30 knots , LOL

two things i really noticed was:
- how smooth the ride was. like silky. Hoping for some solid plus 20 knot days to test this out
- seemed easier to pump , I think due to less drag
