Wish there were some video coverage of this event. One of our Tampa Bay Area sailors - Noah Lyons - is currently 3d. Really nice young man and a marvel in light air, although he's a pretty big guy. I've never seen him in strong winds but I gather he prefers those, so we'll see how tomorrow's Mistral suits him for the marathon.

Looks like they only have about 25 people. Was there some kind of qualification to compete?

The website is pretty comprehensive. Are they putting GPS devices on the boards to track each one during the event?
