I am a big fan of the original lift sails (if you own them, please make sure you have enough outhaul) but just realized that naish has 2 other foiling sails for 2020 the lift freeride and the lift freerace (cambers). Has anyone tried either?

I like the look of the Naish freeride, nice low sail foot but not very high aspect? A 6.0 freeeide uses a 400 mast and 20 extension For light winds I use the 5 batten Naish sprint 5.8 (430 SDM + 16cm extension) set on a Maui sails hard top mast with minimal down haul, It's a very light rig and super nice to pump.

Initially I was thinking of adding the a regular lift 6.4m to my 3.7 to 5.7 quiver for a bit more push, but now I am thinking about that 7.2 freeride

6.4 will be very (too?) close to the 5.7. You can easily go mid or even upper 7 to the 5.7. Or bigger still but that doesn't sound like your cup of tea.

Yeah if I got the 6.4 my thought was that it would probanly replace the 5.7. Good to know that i could go from 5.7 to 7+. Do you think 7.2 would require outboard straps and a board bigger than my FS115?

Only if you sail it well powered up instead of your norm.
You choose your strap setup based on the kind of foiling you want to do which is based on the wind to sail size ratio.

To add on, there are folks who sail 7s or bigger with no straps at all. (Personally, I'm in the straps camp.). Outboard straps help driving upwind, etc. Can't comment on the board - if you don't mind us asking, how much do you weigh?
