I don't like metal stuff at the harness lines. It can cause damage to the board

It is interesting, main "advantage" is that they eliminate all the stitching, not sure how much of an advantage that is. Not sure about how stable the line would be if a lot of the uncovered rope is exposed; not sure about having only one attachment point on the boom; and the price is just ridiculous. A real scam for a piece of rope, some tubing and a plastic attachment.

And now that I think about I used to have a very similar system ages ago. There where two plastic thingies that you put on the boom, then you tied the line through two holes in the thingies. Worked very well, but did not have a way to tighten the thingies on the boom so it could move around a bit in some situations.

I like the way they do things differently, with the pulleys , adjustable line etc..

Interesting. BUT $144 Aus plus. Just replaced the rope on my adjustable ones and the webbing is still good after 3 yrs.
