Hello.

Okarbon is a small company from Slovenia.
We began our buisness with building world fastest RC sailplane in 60inch category.

Our last project is a hydrofoil designed for SUPfoil and low wind windfoil.

I hope you like it.
More info coming soon.

Let me just tell you that the setup weights 2.5Kg and it is made fully from Carbon fiber.

The bolt heads allready have been solved.

We poped the mold for the first time and the sunshine outside told us to quickly prepare the foil for the photoshoot.

This will not be an issue in our final product.

Hello.

I "owe you" some technical details of the setup:

The foil is designed for slow stall speed and stability.
The thick core creates lift and the winglets on the tips keep the foil stable.

Details:
-mast: 800mm
-wing :
chord 220mm
span 620mm
-stab:
chord 110mm
span:390
lenght :780mm

Available with:
-Deep tuttle
-Probox
-90mm width kite adapter (adds 100mm to mast lenght)

Weight: 2.5Kg ready to fly.

Foil wings can be changed and replaced in case of transportation or repair. At the moment only allarounder (kite, sup, wind) front wing is avalible. Later we will offer allso race wing for speed sessions, down wind SUP wing,...

The price for allarounder set is: 850? + Shipping costs.

nice and shiny piece of equipement !
fuselage length ? looks a tad short for windfoiling, especially in light winds.

Hi.

There was a typing mistake. It came out like question mark instead euro (I can't edit my post from before).

The price is 850euros + shipping.
Still a silly number for a full composite 2.5 Kg setup if you ask me.

Yesterday we came back from WindFoil testing!
Allso I have some photos of sinked bolts that were a open topic before

Fuselage lenght is 780mm.
We tested it in light wind with big 100Kg+ guy with 7.5 sail and a kid with 60Kg with 5.0 sail.
Both had no problems getting it in the air and fly

The lenght itself is not such a problem as a CG position of the wing.
We need to produce a adapter plate that will allow to trim mast's position regrading the riders needs.
At the moment the finbox mouting position is OK for testing but we need to move the front wing towards the front of the back leg.
The solution will be universal plate that will have two rails like in kite board.
This will provide adjustability for each rider to trim the CG position as he wants.

Interesting design - I'm surprised there isn't a plate to distribute the load over the bottom of the board?

Hello.

The plate is in the process of making.
We will make a slider plate to go on a board.
So you can adjust the position of the foil as you want.

The test showed that the front wing is to much behind of the back foot.
With moving the foil more to the front we will achive more stable and smooth ride.

Video edit of the Foiling with the windsurf:
Super stoked!

But then you will need customers to use boards with two rails to accomodate the sliding plate ??
Can't see that being a selling point.
Maybe change/extend/modify the fuselage would be better ?

The board with two rails will not be needed.

The sliding plate will screw into regular finbox.
On the lowerside of the plate will be two rails.

The mast will have "kite adapter" with 4 screws.
Allso with adapter Foil will recive +10cm of extra mast lenght.
I will post some pictures when the design work is over. At first stage we will produce milled Alu plate.

Later will came carbon fiber plate for serial production
