Hi all.
I've been trying to get my hands on a surf plate adapter for my NP glide wind foil. Many online shops are out of stock. Earliest possible delivery seems in Feb next year. So I am considering to convert my the powerbox adapter for the NP glide wind, into a surf plate adapter, by:
1. cutting off the powerbox head
2. drilling 4 holes in the plate.

What I need are the exact dimensions of the plate on the surf plate adapter.
Could anyone provide me with these? Length, width at widest, and thickness of the plate. Maybe also length of the front section of the plate, from leading edge to the insert, and from the trailing edge again to the insert?

Please see pictures below of the powerbox adapter, and the surf plate below. They look very similar. The insert on the pb looks even longer.

Thanks. Shipping cost to Estonia would be twice the price of the unit . I should have mentioned I looked at European shops

Keep looking. You will find it. Dimensions and hole spacings for dual track plates are standardized in our industry. The standard distance between the centerlines of the left and right tracks is 90 mm. Fore and aft hole distances can vary, but it is the left and right dimensions that are important.

Width varies from 120 to 127mm
7mm plate thickness
230 long total
43mm from front edge of foil to front of plate.
Looks like 6mm from front of foil to centerline of front bolts.
Rear bolts 12mm forward if trailing edge of foil.

Awesome thank you Bertie! I will compare that with the powerbox adapter (which I need to go and find in a box somewhere in the back of my shed)

I made a comparison overlay of the rubber pads they sell for both the pb and surf adapter:www.neilpryde.com/collections/foil-spare-parts?page=2 and the shape is nearly identical.

Hi Bertie: 7mm plate thickness is with the 2mm rubber pad? Or without?

I measured 5mm without.

Well it could have been 5 or 6 but I was in a dark shed using a ruler and not verniers.
I initially guessed 1/4".
I wasn't including the pad.

No worries mate. Glad I could help,
Not enough technical stuff happens on this forum. So its nice to see and help each other when it does!

I'm sure if you just drill and countersink the powerbox plate with 4 bolts you will be just fine.
I could be a real hack buy the powerbox adaptor and you have the dual track adaptor for the price of 4 holes!!!

they replied me: 1st possible delivery.. (to be confirmed) Feb 2021.

It's super annoying that there are many online shops that list the surf plate adapter as 'available' but then you contact them or place an order and they come back to you and say... not available... I already had 5-6 cases of these. I think it's very bad practice.

available != in stock

(We do, however, understand your frustration. You don't want to be three months off the foil.)

I have been off the foil for just one month, and I'm climbing the walls....

Just wanted to let you know I saw this post and tried modifying mine but unfortunately my plate broke after a couple hours on the water luckily I had the extra large wing and the foil floated long enough for me to grab it. I guess the factory plate is a bit thicker at the base.
