How many of you listen to music on your cell phone while foiling? Since it's so quiet up on foil, thought I'd listen to some rock n roll on my phone when foiling. I always bring my phone in my drypack and stick it in my wetsuit. Why not make the best of it and listen to music too!

I use the new Sony Walkman, all the songs are loaded into the headphones, no wires required. I believe that they were designed for swimming, fully waterproof and small. I have it full of ABBA

Listen to music when speed sailing (cuts out the wind noise).

Don't with foiling, enjoy the peace, plus I need to try and hear the sneaky mongrels (Stropp) trying to stealth us (sneak up on blind side and scare the sh1t out of us)

Wind was great for foiling, and turned on Pandora for tunes. I was impressed! It worked pretty well! Couldn't hear anything when I shloged out for less than 1 minute, but then as soon as I was up on foil, music to my ears, with Lynerd Skinard playing. It's great background music when foiling. Will definitely connect to Pandora again for next foiling session! This adds to the thrill of foiling, rocking out to your favorite rock songs on foil!

This is all very interesting, and I'm glad you mentioned it. I had no idea about the history of how the band got its name. Did some more research and found that the band had a few other names before it became Lynyrd Skynyrd. It was first called the "Noble Five" and a year later changed too, "My Backyard". The band later became Lynyrd Skynyrd after a high school coach named Leonard Skinner who had a huge impact on the band members life. The band ended up changing their name in honor of the coach, Leonard Skinner, but changing the spelling currently known as, "Lynyrd Skynyrd" to fit their band.

When not listening to Pink Floyd, my favorite sound is that of the mast tearing water.

Anyone tried the AfterShokz Xtrainerz? I like the idea of having music but not being totally isolated. They use bone conduction.

I'm pretty sure Klamath water had never been cut by a foil until MagicRide started doing it. And I know for a fact that the same is true of Scooteney (also Charbonneau on the Snake River).

I think I'm the first windfoiler to cut the waters of Klamath Lake, but not the first foil. My 2 other budies did the cutting first on their kite foils and are still out. We have a blast out their. We were out yesterday. It has been windy almost every day.
