Anyone have experience windfoiling with this the new moses 799? It is considered a "wingfoiling wing" but it was designed by Balz Muller and there are a few good videos of him doing his thing on it.

It has m8 mounting holes in the wing but comes with adaptors so you can use your current m6 bolts. There are some new fuselages coming out with the m8 front wing holes. I was told the new the F899-HS, only fits the kite/surf/wing masts. It will not fit on any of the windfoiling masts like my new ghost whisperer 111.

I'm coming off the slingshot hoverglide with infinity 65 and 76 both awesome wings. I want something that has good early lift and float like the i76 but with i65 speed and size for jumping and freestlye tricks. Looks like the 799 could be a combination of both wings!?
My only worry would be if the balance feels off since I don't use a board with tracks or ride with my mast base as far back as Balz.

It has great range, definitely competes with the 76 for low end, but has a better top end.

Regarding getting the balance right, without a track, you can use different stabilizers as well as stabilizer shims to increase or decrease lift.

I am using it with a ghost whisperer tuttle mast and have my universal quite far back (~34 in to first tuttle bolt). My front strap is pretty far forward 11 inches from universal. If I wanted to move my universal forwards I could add shims to the stabilizer. Currently I am using the 450 stab with no shims

Good point about the shims. With my wizard 105 the farthest back I put the base is 38 1/2" and front straps are 15" from base with my 5.4m. I realise your freestyle 87 has the base a lot farther back then mine.

It looks like the stem on the 799 would put the wing more forward compared to the 790.
With my slingshot kit I always found the smaller i65 a bit more front footed then my i76, I think this was because the center of lift is farther forward on the i65.

I believe the 720 lifts a lot more than the 790, even though its much smaller, because of its angle of attack. I have not ridden the 790 but the 799 lifts less than the 720, but it lifts a lot more than my 633. I reckon the 799 will lift more than the 790. Two of my mates do well with the 790 on their wizards, they say it is comparable to the 76 (you could message Gwarn to confirm this). So my complete guess would be that the 799 will require a bit more front foot pressure than you use on the 76.

I have seen that in silvaplana some of the starboard guys do use the race kit with 800 front Wing for freestyle foiling. Do you think they set It up differently from race setting? For site the fuselage Is not the 115++ :-), the SAB 799 Is 1000 ish cm2 and the 720 Is 750 so It May Be possibile, SAB claums the 720 Is food High Wind Racer as well.

moses has gone bad. they have a lot of orders and the quality has deteriorated. my friend saw a kite foil with stratified carbon fiber.

They aren't very quick lifting. You need a board that planes easily and a very active technique.

They aren't very quick lifting. You need a board that planes easily and a very active technique.

I used my IQ gear w/ 95+ fuse (900 front, 9.0 sail) in ~15+ knots and didn't need to pump but the board is almost 200L and 95cm wide. Think the old 95 would be even tougher. For a small sail you'd probably need to be in 20 knots to not pump and will be dealing with swells and chop that are going to fight you unless you figure out how to use them to get going. Unless it's voodoo chop coming at you from all directions (what I deal with at the high end of a bay w/ reflecting sea walls), then it's going to be tough tough tough.

Much easier on the much liftier I76 w/ 6.6 down to 5.0 I've got than deal with having to uphaul or waterstart a 4 cam 9.0 full of water in 1-3ft random swells, but at least the volume and width help.
