Has anyone any experience in using a Mistral 137 as a foil board?

If it's shallow Tuttle, might need flanged head foils or powerplate.

Make sure foil mast head fits fully into your fin box.

Hello,

Abit late reply maybe but here a link:

I think it is public.

But I am using the 137 with the NP alu foil for about 2 seasons. Maybe 20 days of foiling.
Just used a thickplastic cover and large rings on top. I havent strengthend the box yet :).

It is not a perfect setup with 8.6 and 7.0 but atleast you can give it a go and see if you like foiling.
It depends alot on the foil you will be using. Maybe race foil will give abit more balans.
At the moment I still have quit some backfoot pressure but it's ok.

With 5.3 you notice the sail is alot lighter and you can start foiling directly on the foil.
With the larger sails you need first planning speed before you foil.

From what I have heard the mistral 137 2014 has a stronger box than the 2013 model.

You made excellent adaptations for a regular board with a narrow stern. Throw in the trash the first pink foil from the neil pryde. Or make a long fuselage like I did 120 cm and hope to enjoy the foil.

Reg at WSP WA has extensions already available to extend front & rear. Also to fit NP Glide wings for the light wind flying, Build thread posted by Adam555 in the Foil threads

Hi Antonmik,
Do you have a spare 120 fuselage for NP pinkie, or a design for one?

I made a drawing of the fuselage and agreed all the dimensions with the horue factory. and then on 3D model me have made fuselage from rod diameter of 30 mm so as I'm riding on wing horue XXLW with span 1200 mm.
