Severnes are falling apart fast enough as they are, dont have to help em out getting the lighter version.

I have to be honest I'm a heavy user, but I had both a Severne Unit and Severne TurboGT fall apart on me. The Unit lasted about one year (60 sessions on it I think), the Turbo did 5 until the stitching started tearing up at the battens and I sold it after 10 because I lost confidence. Have since switched to S2Maui, as light, if not lighter, but a lot stronger in construction.
A lot of my old racing mates are now doing the international IQ races, they say they use the IQ sails only for about 3 months maximum before they switch to the next one because at that point they're no longer competative.
