After taking up foiling I have now reduces my sail quiver from 7 sails down to 3 the largest was 8mtr down to 4.2 and 3 masts. Now 3 sails and 1.5 masts (Ezzy split masts ).was 4 board's now down to a 1 foil board and one slapper but TOW up by 75% . My largest sail 6.5 and smallest 4.5 .
I'm not tempted to go for wing things yet though but think will get a smaller van !
What changes has foiling made to your quiver.

Very similar story with my quiver, very happy with outcome, especially tow.

Same for me. Windsurfing Equipment was 8.0; 6.7; 5.7; 4.7; 4.2 with 118 tabou speedster, 107 tabou 3s, jo freestylewave 93. Now for foiling it is the 130l slingshot Wizard, Fwind Foil with i65; i76 and sails 5.7; 4.7; 4.0.
With this Setup im able to have fun in very light conditions Up to stronger Winds and it all fits inside a Audi TT Coup?

No diff.....
We have many more +17 days than days from 5-17.

Also, I notice a huge difference going 5.5Fr sail to 5.2 Wave sail, and 4.7 one cam to 4.2 pure wave.

My sail quiver hasn't changed. Just the same sails, 5.2, 6.0 and 6.8 sizes. This upcoming season I will change out the 6.0 Naish sail with a 5.8 Ezzy Legacy. I will then have all Ezzy sails and Ezzy masts.

My quiver changed A LOT. When I was finning, I sailed mostly formula with 10.0, 10.4, 11.0, 11.7, and 12.0. Never anything smaller, even in the Gorge.

Since I went hard-over into foiling, 96% of my sail use is with just 2 sails: 5.0 and 6.4. Sometimes I rig a 7.0 Flyer. For the "big" days I will need to get a 4.2. I weigh 195 lb.

I got rid of my 7.8 and now have 7.0, 5.8, 4.9, 3.9. That covers me for foiling and windsurfing (although not much windsurfing happened after I got the foil kit).

Used 9.0 and 7.2 Aerotech Freespeed sails for windsurfing from 12-23 knots on a JP Magic Ride 142, added an 8.0 and 5.8 for foiling on Goya Bolt 135. Still use 9.0 foiling in 8-10, and 5.8 in 18+ but that will probably get reduced some. AFS Wind95 foil with F800 and F700 wings covers 8-22+. Weigh 190 lbs/86 kilos.

Gone from 1 board, 3 sails, 2 mast, 1 boom to 1 board, 1 foil, 3 sails, 3 masts 2 booms... so mines gotten bigger. But amount of sailing days has tripled.

I had eleven sails, then went to 4, then 6, now 3. Replaced 3.0-3.8-.4.2-4.9-9.0-10.0 for 3.8-4.2-4.9

Usable from 10-12 knots, upto 45+ knots with fin (tested my 2021 3.8 yesterday..)

Boards are a jumble, some of the boards I use are not mine but owned by the brand distributor. Quite a lot and goes up and down with the seasons. I think on average 8 foilboards but some doubles. Sold my foilraceboard. Have a slalom, freestyle and wave board aswell

Started out the year with 4 sails, 2 masts and 2 booms. 3.5, 4.2, 5.2, 6.0. Two front foil wings one foil board covering 8-35kts. Only used the 6.0 a few times.

The goal for next season is 3 sails; 3.5, 4.7, 5.8. All wave sails, 2 masts and 1 boom covering the same range

Basically only on the 3.5m the last few months straight

Keeping fewer sails makes things way easier. If over powered switch wings, having two wings is like having another sail size smaller or bigger. Haven't touched the 4.2 in so long. There is no point in carrying around extra sails when you don't need to especially when switching wings is faster. Gotta love foiling!

For two of us (one foiler, one winger), we added 4 boards and three wings to the gear we had, and sold one or two rarely used boards. The largest sails (7.5 - 8.5) have gotten very little use since starting to foil, and may not get replaced when they break (with a possible exception for the largest slalom sail). We'll probably end up getting rid of a couple of foil/wing boards and a couple of longboards, so the net change will be close to zero.

Flat water slalom/speedsurfing is too much fun to stop, so there won't be a reduction in the board quiver (5 boards), and the sails will be replaced as needed.

I had not used a cam sail since 99, but will have at least one possibly two in the quiver.

4 sails, 3 masts and 1 boom
1 wind foil board (also use for wing ding)
3 sling wings
1 foil with 4 different front wings

that covers every wind and water condition for both wind foiling and winging. The only thing I'm adding is a smaller wing ding board.
everything is color coordinated because it makes you faster

Do any of you find the gap between your small sails too tight for dedicated foiling? Or are you also planning for slapping as well. Notice that some of you have 0.5m gaps or smaller. I've got 4.0 and 4.8 as my 2 smallest sails, but in hindsight, I could easily have at least a 1.2m gap or more, say 3.7+5.0 if I was just foiling.

By the time it's 15kts I'm on the 4.0 so there really isn't that much space for 2 more larger wave sails.

Well I went the opposite direction to most Previous to foiling my sails were 4.4, 4.8, 5.2 and just wave and freestyle which I could do from easily 15kts on the FS board. I still sail the wave/FS gear but it's probably 1/10 sessions now.

Foiling, my smallest sail is an 8.0 and I also have a 9.0..... #racefoil-life With that setup I can foil from 6-25kts although to be honest over 25 it's getting pretty sketch but i've raced in over that. It's most fun in 8-12kts as the water is usually dead flat and you can easily do double the windspeed+.

I'm with you on the light stuff - the acceleration is just absolutely mental and addictive. There's a smaller lake than our usual venue that's further but because of the local topography, the wind comes in fine and chop is minimal. So much fun just letting it loose there and then carving into a "butter" jibe.

This is similar to me 3.3 through 5.3 for wave sails and one 6.5 single cam. You can certainly get by with less sails if you have multiple wings, but some combos suit conditions better than others (eg big sail/small wing for flat water)

I was stuck on thinking I needed to use my 9.0 from windsurfing in 8-10 knots for foiling, but after reading here what people were using ( smaller) I gave my 8.0 a go today in 8-11, worked great with my AFS Wind 95 and F800 wing with two stab. shims on a Goya Bolt 135. So my sail range is 8.0/7.2/5.8, one board, one boom, one mast, one foil with two wings. Going to the 9.0 requires a bigger/heavier boom and longer/heavier mast, not missing that!
