Has anyone seen and tried an Airbolt?, nice flat deck, unusual bottom. Weight not yet reported. Larger sizes have a deep TB and tracks.

HI sandman,

I have been on the Airport 120 for 20 sessions. With 4 Dakine primo straps it weights just under 9kg. I was not sure about the size, as I am very close to 100kg, but even with big sails, it was no problem to uphaul. Tacking is a bit of a drama for me as there is very little volume upfront. Others than that, I am pretty happy with it. Fast and easy planing/take-off and perfectly balanced for my riding-style. I have used up to 8.1m Ezzy Hydra sport, which is on the edge for the size of the board, but okay. I am waiting to test my new 6.7 Hydra sport soon. I can highly recommend the board.

David

I had the airbolt 120. I felt it suited someone as a first foil board in that it allowed you to foil with a similar technique to sailing with a fin.

I did a blog on it here - sailrepair.co.uk/goya-airbolt/
