Decided to play with the plus plus fuse on my Starboard classic kit. What's usually the shim difference going between the plus (IQFoil) and the ++? Most likely to be using it with the millennium (1000) and I'm on the light and slow side of things. May need it for a local situation where getting off the water early is the important thing.

But I've been using the 115+ with +0.5 except in light wind when I use the +1. It may be worth trying the -1.5 at first? Would be interesting to try myself.

Thanks - exactly what I was looking for. Currently, I use the +1.5 with the millennium. My new board doesn't allow me to go back further than about 106.5 on the mast base so I've pushed it a touch forward and added another half degree instead.

I'll give it a go with -0.5 and see how it goes.

With all the fuss about tracks, etc I still find it fascinating how much adjustability shims can provide.

Interesting, that logic makes sense but only practice will tell! Let me know how it goes and what you think of that fuse. Been wondering how it does in light wind myself. Seems like it would be pretty wild in higher wind and I'd want to swap fuses.

Some riders make their own shims with 0.25 step angle and are happy with it from what I read.
I have no idea if they can ship outside Europe ... just to give you some ideas in case you are a pro of 3D printing

Some cool stuff in their e-shop. Thanks for the link! Right now, for my (slow) purposes, 0.5 with some mast base tweaks are sufficient but great to know about the 1/4 degree options.

Are you using the -2 255 with those + shims
I have the standard 225 and find anything + is a handful if the wind is more than 12mph

Yeah light wind I'm 9.0 with 900, 115+, 225(-2) with +1 shim and mast base pushed back.

If it picks up I will center the mast base and switch to the +0.5 if I need to. +0.5 works up to closer to 20kts but it takes a lot of dropping the boom and decent amount of downhaul. I'm comfortable somewhere around when lighter guys are windfoiling on 4.4s. Not fast but jibes are easy and I am not panicking. Above that I do.

Yes, both aero and I are talking about -2 stab. Can certainly see why you'd find that much stab a handful. (I'd be in the attic with that much shim.)
