Made a small series of videos from the world championships at Lake Garda with some full races, hope you like it. Total cold start for me as my last up and down wind races were pre covid so spoiler alert I am not the new world champion.

Thanks for the videos.
The guy who won was on a full IQfoil gear?

Thanks for reporting on the event Kasper, POV regatta footage is the best.
@Jusavina I believe both the first and second place riders were on full IQ foil gear, but I feel their results are largely due to both of them having much more TOW than the rest of the fleet.

Goes to show, spending double the money on the latest foil kit can only get you so far.

We don't appreciate that kind of blasphemy around here.

Didn't some guy named lance once say; "It's not about the bike foil"?

Kasper79, I watched way too many minutes of your videos and enjoyed them immensely. USA 76 is a buddy and he enjoyed his cameos. Super nice guy if you didn't get the chance to meet him.
Also enjoyed some of your othe local race videos. Keep them coming!

The Wolf who won was on full iq gear but mostly used the old 9,0 meter sail, he did 3 races on the 8,0. Theo in 2. Place was the 8,0 meter iq setup all of the time. But they are young people so they pump going upwind. I'm too old for that, so I have to buy better equipment. The Wolf is a pro windsurfer so he doesn't have to have a day job and that gives him way more watertime then I am able to put in. But the great part of doing the racing is that you realise where you are doing ok and where you are doing bad. For me definitely my downwind game let me down so that will be my main focus. For next time I will start doing up and downwind racing on the danish tour again so it wouldn't be a cold start. 'USA 76 is a nice guy, we had some close finishes together so had to talk about that after the races. You always find some racers where you place more or the less the same with in every race.

Thanks for liking and watching the videos, that gives me motivation to keep doing it.
Best regards, Kasper

Those are great parts about racing in a large and very skilled fleet: it matters less about your overall score and more about how well you are racing your peers and the best inspire you and show how it's done.
My wife also enjoyed yor wife's response about needing a new boom (iirc).
