Took me two years to learn this move.
Hardest part is foiling out. I learned early on how to make it around but couldn't make it over the hump of foiling out, the holy grail.

Watch all the great videos on YouTube and especially ones of Simon on here in the other threads.
Some tips that helped me. Go in with good speed but not too much(not overpowered) at least around 30km/hr works for my kit and I don't want to drop below about 11km/hr to have a chance foiling out. Don't aggressively sheet in and try to go around, open the sail a bit and kinda let yourself fall in to the carve then the lay sail down. I would usually oversheet which would kill my speed. Gradually lay the sail down as your approaching 180, don't sharply lay it down unless your a pro. Keep front arm extended laying the sail down and I tilt the rig back more just a little as I am rounding closer to 360. Its important to be in some wind not a lull or you will not foil out you need to catch the wind and have it slingshot you forward once around to 360. Note i move my back foot from to the outside rail closer to the inside rail as I round up to 360. It feel natural since the board is now pointing downwind a bit to catch more wind and generate speed again and it gives me leverage over the sail and prevents me from getting pulled onto the sail

Great work Connor, very smooth.
Reckon if you've got one on film you have been successful plenty of times before

Hell Yeah Conor! There is something so cool about being layed down with the sail parallel to the water! You have been paying your days and now you're reaping the benenfits!

Very cool! Have you tried the upwind 360 as well?

I've been practicing slogging with small gear on a windsup with upwind 360s and helis before trying it on a foil. Will probably attempt these before the upwind 360 on a foil.

Only 4th clean one so far. I've done more 360s where I skim the surface but keep going. It just started to click the the last two sessions. Only made one yesterday in super gusty shifty 8-25kts+.
I reckon going from the my 90 to 100cm fuse helps some to stabilize the ride height downwind. Will have to see if I can do it on the short fuse.

They will be next on the list I think. Will report back in two years

So awesome to watch a good clean 360 Connor, and it's well deserved

Nicely done!! Very Smooth. This inspires me to try the 360 as it looks like a lot of fun. Figure if it took you 2 years it will take me 2 decades

Yeah, I've been stuck at getting around to 12 o'clock and coming off the foil but making it around for quite a while. The first 10-12 times, I was stoked to just make the move. Now, it's getting a little frustrating to still be stuck at just making it around. So, it's really good to see someone else conquor this fully foiling.

It just looks like I am getting further ahead because everyone I used to windfoil with switched to winging so they had to start at ground zero again

It does take lots of time to learn these moves. But totally worth it in the end. For the guys that are really close keep trying, it will happen and try to post some video so we can help each other improve. Can't wait to learn the foil tack. We need more windfoilers this sport is so rad
