Since I don't have access to a 3d printer and my foils lacking a standardized shim, I'd resorted to a few things to create shims. One thing I found that worked pretty well was thin sheet ABS which comes in fairly uniform sheets of 1mm, 2mm, etc.
With the arrival of a new fuselage with a much more forward wing position, I was looking for a shim that would have a consistent and repeatable angle. Unfortunately, I lack the tools and ability to make fine and accurate angles in my flat ABS stock.
After doing some searching, I found guitar neck shims for bolt on guitar necks - thin nylon approx 5x6cm approx .5-1mm thick in a pack of three angles .25, .5 and 1.0 degrees. They look like this

They can be found on the typical online venues and perhaps at your local guitar shop. Hope this helps someone.
