yes looked up ad nearly T-Boned the boat. it was so windy I didn't hear the motor as it was downwind

That particular boat tops out at 28kn in glass.
On this particular day I think Darryl went 30 plus on a 5.0 and young Harry ( mid 70's kg and year nine )on a 6.0 went 28 plus.
So yes need a faster boat.

Great video Snides. Sailing the 9.0m2 iQFoil in 20-30 knots plus on the one design foil around a course is going to be test of skills, fitness and stamina. A lot of respect to the athletes who can do so. The sailors shown here are among the top foilers in WA aside from the foiling guy taking the photos who is also tops. According to Antonio Cozzolino the top sailors will not need the fin soon (or now) on the iQFoil.
