Carbon is the badest fiber for a nose protector to prevent hits from the mast. It is best to make stiff laminated parts

West epoxy system isn't uv stable so he needs a top coat. +1 on PatK but presume this is iqfoil 'maintenance' rather than a modification. Protection against scratches?
