They have so much flow to their sailing now. Add this inspiration to the pile of reasons why my fins are collecting dust.

That no hand gybe by emily was perfect timing with that camera shot, so awesome.

Gregs not bad foiler either both make it look effortless...you just have to love free foiling in swell, it's the bee's knee's!

Emily has the smoooothest jibes ever, and Greg just rips it up everywhere.

Ohh and the breach recovery at 1:08..

That's not nearly enough wind to windsurf, but excellent for foiling.

I don't understand. Those sails are 3.4 and 2.8.

I use a 3.7 in breezes 10-15.
Not nearly enough to justify windsurfing.

I guess I just almost never see sails that small in FL. My smallest is a 5.0, may get a 4.0 for freeride foiling and the rare stormy days but even the best foilers I've seen here are out on something like 4.3-5.2 when I'm overpowered on a fin with an 8.0 cheetah.

I have a 3.7 I wish was a 3.0 for winds 25+ knts.

Some guys like 85 kg Sunset Sailboards, uses a 4.4, 4.0, and windsurfs +22 knots.

I rig full downhaul, floppy leech, baggy outhaul.

There are tons of sheep in the meadow (whitecaps). That breeze is in the teens minimum, probably more. They are both light weights. And both are VERY skilled. They both have been focused on efficiency and using the efficiency of foils to decrease sail sizes. They both pump well and often. Watch Emily pump to take off at :50 seconds. Greg pumps out of most of his 360's and throws a pump or two often. It just a different sailing style than 8.0 sails, they have cultivated it with persistance. They are Inspirational and showing us what is possible!

The wind in that video is stronger than it looks.I have spoke with Greg a few times nice guy and willing to share info.They do subscribe to the bigger foil small sail way of free ride foiling always riding the phantasm 730, Greg doesn't even like to rig his 4.2 and his 4.7 is gathering dust.Right now my 3.4 is my smallest and would love to go smaller but will need a different boom.Love the feeling of having something small in your hands it gets tricky when their is plenty wind to foil but the water start becomes difficult.

I have windsurfed in La Ventana. Fantastic conditions. The wind is strong! By afternoon most days in the winter it is 20+. Huge kite area with almost no windsurfing anymore.

Just plain awesome. Awesome riding, and awesome drone work, by Wyatt I assume. Those low close-ups make me pucker.

Last summer I was lucky to sail near Greg in the Gorge. I would hoot at him as he went by, he would do an amazing 360, I would fall in, then he would jibe around me. Repeat. Then later, in the de-rigging area, getting some good tips from him.

Tight leech--I'm thinking back on that sail rigging video that maybe segler posted--tight leech creates more down force, right?

Is it the PTM 684 Greg's using or the PFI 730? Also, does anyone know what size board he's on or generally uses?
