I've been struggling with the length of my harness lines for a while. I started shortening them up, but still had issues. I wanted longer ones for 'slogging', but needed shorter ones for foiling. I was watching recent PWA foiling race footage on Youtube (
) and ran across this idea.
You have 'slogging' lines and 'foiling lines. It works extremely well!!!

Measurements for reference . I think the smaller lines are 20 inches.

I'm also trying out a waist harness (Been in a seat harness all my sailing career), and the spreader had this little pulley. It works extremely well for moving forward and aft in the lines! This is a great little gem for foiling. I sailed today using this for the first time and with variable weather, I was able to slip the sail forward and aft with no issue! it helps with trimming the sail much better than the hook. And I can get out of it easier.

Hope this tip helps! After blowing my arms out with the longer lines, I can finally use both very well for each purpose!
