Very cool, I'm itching to get out again when the wind returns
i recon Cervantes will be a great location for cruising.

This isn't meant to sound negative but I am struggling to see what this offers over wind foiling or kite foiling?
I can't see why I would do this over wind foiling.

Jibing no longer requires a foot switch? Of course, holding the sail behind your back appears awkward to the uninformed windsurfing observer.

More seriously, it looks like fun but a bit more limited than windfoiling. I think kiters who have limited launch options are a good candidate plus it's a gateway drug for all the SUPers who don't kite or windsurf.

did anyone see the catapult due to hitting the reef toward the end? LOL. kinda funny... cause I've done that.

I think windwings offer an alternative fun way of foiling downwinders, perhaps a little looser feeling than with a sail. Be nice having a clear view ahead.
I expect windfoiling will always offer more powered-up carving and gybing especially as we're now using bigger sails.
General foiling around, upwind etc. advantage to windfoil.

It's early days - let's see where it goes.
More choices the better I reckon - life's short
