Been at this foiling thing for a bit over a year now. Started with converting an old board and getting the NP Alu foil. Been a pretty good way to get into it. I love it.

I think I may pop for a full on foiling board and carbon foil this summer.

What are people's favourite combinations, and what price? I am guessing $6 - $7k for foil board and carbon foil set up. And what about sail, is a foiling sail worth the additional?

I'm pretty happy with my Exocet rf91 foil board. The volume distribution and strap positions are much better than the slalom and formula boards I was using. Made a big difference for me. I got the cheaper AST version but also comes in full carbon. Pricing is on the windsurfing shed website.

After a ton of research, I bought the SB Foil 147 and the GT foil. This setup has been a dream to learn on, and I love the idea of interchangable Foil parts.
