I'm just putting a call out to any Armstrong Foilers out there (if they exist!)
There are only 2 of us at our local and R&D is very limited.Some extra perspective would be awesome

I don't know of any windsurf foilers because of the fuse length. Loads of wingers.

Yes 70cm fuse is short, but it's all we have known,so we are used to it.
Most if the windsurfers here are winging and the local shop stocks Armstrong hence our choice.

Looks to be a quality product, to bad they don't do windfoil.

More than 2 years ago I emailed Armstrong asking for windfoiling recommendations. They said to wait for a dedicated windfoil fuse. AFAIK, they never released one. I switched to winging since.

I started wingfoiling few years ago and after slingshot switched to Armstrong with 80 cm fuselage. It was very balanced and easy to ride with my slingshot levitator board. Used 2400, 1850, 1550 and 1125 wings. 1125 was the fastest. Apparently they don't make the 80 cm fuselage anymore. After learning foiling, I switched to racefoils that are significantly faster but requires different board and sails. Sometimes especially strong windy days, I still go back to Armstrong since it is easier to ride with smaller sails 3.5, 4.5. Armstrong set up is more playful and suitable for freeride.

I also once asked Armstrong about making a winDfoil fuselage of 90 cm, which is a very common freeride size. They said, yes, in the future. That was 4 years ago. I think their business base nowadays is pretty much exclusively winging, and they are a HUGE player in that arena.

Tried one once. Needed to push the foil base all the way forward on my slingshot freestyle 115 with the mast base all the way back, but still had loads of back foot pressure. Pitch stability was similar to what i get with my phantasm 710 fuse, pumping was nice. Roll stability was a challenge since the mast stiffness was like a wet noodle compared to my normal phantasm setup.

I've recently gone to the 935 performance mast ,which is a total game changer.Much more control running down the wave face and less turbulence through a choppy ocean.
I think the 70cm fuse makes for a lively ride which through necessity has been worth persevering with.
Currently running CF range foils which I love and thinking to try the new HA foils when I get a chance

Jim Stringfellow aka "Stringy"
makes aluminium fuses for Armstrong foils that mount to Axis masts. I reckon this would be a good option for windfoil, particularly if you went for an extra long fuse.

I use standard fusilage from Gong, overall dimensions 76cm, from leading edge of front wing to trailing edge of stabilizer, and prefer it over using the same set up with fusilage extenders... From what I understand, Armstrong's mast is on the soft side, that could be an issue for windfoil

I have only ever ridden the 70cm Armstrong fuse (80cm from front of wing to rear of stab) It's not an issue, the new performance masts have sorted the mast flex
Im more after info on front wings there selection is big
the new HA wings look awesome but $900 is a big risk to take if they don't work!

Performance of foils is the same as it would be for wingfoil, your selection depends on your skill level, weight, and style of sailing you into speed or freeride/ wave ride, etc., board you use.
