It took a while but finally the 2021 Wizards arrived in Australia.
For the last two years I have been foiling a Wizard 125 (12 months) then the Wizard 105. The Wizard 105 is such a great board. At 85 kg's, It allowed me to foil 12 knots to 35 knots in flat water or waves and swell.

So is the 2021 Wizard 114 better? YES

The 114 is the same length as the 105 but 10cm narrower. The parallel rails combined with the double cut outs on the bottom result in the board popping up onto the foil easier than the 105. Once up it feels similar, which would be explained by my outboard front foot strap position in an identical location to the front straps on my 105.
I have foiled 10 sessions using both the Infinity 65 and 76. I found both foils need the plate mount to be at the rear of the mast tracks. It has been windy here so I have only sailed with 3.7, 4.2 and 4.7 Simmer Tricera's.
For my first few sessions I fixed my sail slightly forward of half way in the mast track (a similar position to the back of the track on the 105) but am now sailing with sail located at the back of the mast track which seems to loosen things up a bit more.
The Foot Straps are great, I'm not a fan of the anti-twist plate but it was easily enough removed.
At some point I may try the front foot strap inboard mounts, it's nice to have the option.

In summary, The 114 pops up onto the foil easier than the 105 and feels more agile once there

You guys are really showing the capability of these boards.

I'd be interested where you have the foil mast track set on the 114, if you tried moving it fore or aft, and your view on the mast base/foil mast track relationship.

Simon, thanks for adding the side by side, wow what a difference

Now you can see how much more the parallel rails are on the W114.

Both the W130 and the W114 everything is geared much further back and over the foil for quicker response and feedback.
Bet you are loving that single back strap, that alone ties everything in beautifully.

Thanks for all the info, Simon. Do you feel any difference off-foil relative to the 105 when slogging, up hauling, etc?

Thanks! and, OOooo...where does one get that base plate with the open slotted holes for the bolts?? That looks like a more convenient design than the one that came stock on my FWing with no slots. Is that an official Slingshot accessory?? Not seeing it on their website....

Yes, the plate is Slingshot.

The W105s have served us well.
I reckon it will remain the classic proven freeride foilboard for all conditions.

Nice work on the 114. I'm interested in the SS114 as well and had a couple questions. First a little background. I'm currently on a Tabou 125 rocket (non foil), and a 7.0 sail. I'm 140 lbs. I was thinking of the 114 and a 6.0 sail. The winds on Lake Travis can be pretty variable with lulls that require sloshing around waiting for a puff. Would the 114 be up haul able in choppy conditions ?. I don't mind sloshing back to the dock when winds drop off, just want a reality check that its doable. Would the 6.0 work for my weight in winds ranging 10-20mph ?.

I used the 6m on the w114 and it was fine, It could take more sail than that, but at your weight I cannot see that necessary unless you want to use small foils in very light wind.

It uphauls well, slogs well and gets going very early. I mostly ride the FS 115, because i have other boards dedicated for lightwind foiling, but if I had to have only one board it would be the w114 for sure. I am 75kgs

I agree with thedoor.
The 114 will be easy enough for you to uphaul and comfortable to stand on while you wait for gusts.
At 140lbs you may not need a sail as big as 6 but if that's what you've got no harm in trying it
