Struggling between Duotone (apparently the slimmest gripped tube and probably the narrower max width ), Severne Freemove (apparently the best boom head design), Point 7.
Need to work up to 190 but I'd appreciate if 205 would be stiff as well.

Hard to fault the Duotone 170 tbh. It has an enormous range, up to 230, and is very stiff even at its extended range. It can easily be the only boom you need to cover your entire quiver. The new models also have oval tubes, further increasing its stiffness and providing additional comfort. Perhaps the best reference is that many non-Duotone PWA riders use it.

Point 7 and duotone premium models both have the smart clew threading outhaul line so you can rig quickly without apple-cores on the sails which is a practical consideration imho.

Dustin's well know but P7 less so.

QUICK ADJUSTMENT LOCK - EFFORTLESS OUTHAUL ADJUSTMENT.

Time is precious when you're on the water, and every second counts when rigging. With our new quick adjustment lock[/b] for the outhaul system, you no longer need to undo knots[/b] or waste time fumbling with adjustments. It's as simple as looping it around[/b] the sail's eyelet and the fixed round wheel of the boom.
