I like sticky feet wax. It's locally made in WA, plus the box doesn't leak wax everywhere if you leave it in your car on a hot day.

I can't fault FCS leggies, they're quite comfortable and I've never had one break. o&E leggies are mud. Seen them break heaps, plus had 2 of my own go. Worlds strongest my ar$3...

Im a sticky feet guy too. I also like the way they come in a box as it makes for easy storage. I also use Sex Wax a bit and was excited to see the new lot came packaged in a box, until i tried to get it out

O&E for leggies, though my newest one has quality control issues.

I used to love Mrs Palmers until they sold out to Billabong so on principle I stopped using it. Tried their new stuff Farrking but never really enjoyed it. These days I use sex wax orange as my base coat and the sex wax cream as the top coat. Its really messy but does a dam good job.

Leash wise I had a few bad experiences with FCS tangling on me a few yrs back after using them for yrs - changed to O&E and have been enjoying them ever since. I love the little bit of plastic on the rope for ease of use when threading it through yr leg rope holder. Nice touch. A simple yet effective solution. I have 3 of them that I replace every year on my birthday and have never had any issues with them.

+ 1 Sticky Feet

Leggies I really don't have a preference coz I've been given way more than I've snapped (4).

On getting tangled, I never wrap mine up around the fins or whatever. Keep it as straight as possible, even when heading overseas, I'll fold it in 1/2 down the board to the nose & back. Ifs its getting a bit coily, I'll attach it to something & stretch it out in the sun for a few hours. Nothing worse than a leggy wrapping round ya leg out in the surf.

Lengths...basically thinner & shorter for smaller waves & thicker & longer for bigger waves.

i find that shapers do reasonably good leashes, have been using a 5 foot shortboard legrope on my 666 for the last 5 months and it's still goin strong so cant complain for the 25 bucks it cost me, and i do like mrs palmers

Apologies Re: my previous post... I use Creatures leashes. They last me a long time, typically.

I've got O&E and Balin leggies and they both decent..... although the O&E leggie does tend tgo coil a bit. Sticky Bumps wax is great. Tried creams but they make such a mess.

JB I keep my wax in an old large Swiss vitamin tub. Recycling

Thanks for that, i just ordered one.. How many blocks can you fit in it..I tend to like to carry everything these days..SO i don't get caught out..

Another question i have, with out starting another thread.

DO you leave your wetsuit's in the car in the heat? Does it effect them and their longevity? I have actually started to remove boards on super hot days or at least park in the shade. But the other day i found my wet tie and it was boiling hot and i'm just curious if it makes a big difference

You can fit a few in it, but I tend to only keep one or 2 in there at a time anyway, then replace it with a block from my stash at home when i need to.

I've got a big bucket that I wack my wet stuff in & I leave the wax in there. When I get home I grab the bucket to hang up my wet stuff & so the wax comes along for the ride out of the hot car. Has been left in a hot car on trips to places & just melts into the bucket.

Cream is great. Never used it before and a mate threw me a fresh block of it for a touch up. Never got it back. Gotta try to source it myself now.

Anyone know an online store that sells it or even a shop i can ring to get posted out? Not much choice down here.

That store I posted the link above (ie. www.surftrolley.com) used to because I got some off them before, but they don't seem to list it anymore.
maybe contact them and see if there is anymore on the way.
Otherwise Byrne Surf in Wollongong sells it I'm pretty sure.
