twin otter on floats

how come know one has got a twin otter on floats and done some real surf charters in perth ????

Haha rather cryptic quote.. But i will say i have heard about a local dive charter talking about doing surf trips to a Northern reef

Sadly i think the crowds will be rather unhappy and i can't actually see it getting of the ground..But still


Edit: Is the Twin Otter that boat that was developed down south with rad shock built in..

Didn't think you could buy a twin otter without floats. I still thing a goose or other floating boat us a better option.

I have seen a couple of company's use float planes for surfers . has anyone been surfing of a plane from perth ???

i waited for the perfect swell and wind and flew a plane over the coast of southland new Zealand. the amount of perfect waves with no ****er on them was just sick !!!

No expert, but used to be a pilot.

I am pretty sure that:
1) The number of days that you could actually land a Twin Otter in the ocean around Perth Waters would mean that that aircraft is under utilised
2) Not many guys would pay the cost per surf required to make it viable

A boat would have a far better chance as at least it can be used in all conditions that you would surf in.

yea not for the average bum surfer that's for sure.
