Had my car smashed into at the same location a couple of weeks ago, so locking it may not have made any difference. They do have CCTV and you car will be viewable, however you'll need a police report before they release it to anyone. Would of loved to have seen the bastards that did my car.

Yeah I reckon they sit there and watch you put the boat in and then go break in. They went from front to back and through every nook and cranny in the car so must of spent a bit of time in it, seems nothing but a pair of $2 bali raybans was taken as well. It's almost worth leaving the car open so you don't have the expense of replacing glass afterwards.

Absolute W***kers!

Someone once wrote on here that their car got broken into and they nicked his coldies he had in the esky for the post surf beer, one deterrant I heard was to put a coldy in the car with some "additives" and to leave the car unlocked so the little turd would pay for his crime..

I don't think the police will do an awful lot. I don't think it's really their fault, they're under the pump (I respect police, nurses and teachers). But I once had my car smashed up. CCTV got them doing it and their car. Police said they wouldn't pursue it.

When a school burns down, they can catch the people based on the tiny amount of evidence, when a wife gets murdered, they will dig and dig, but I think a car getting broken into isn't on their priority list unfortunately.

It is a shame, because we work so hard to get the things and then someone violates it so easily, and gets away with it (or gets a slap on the wrist) over and over again!

I think I mentioned adding fibreglass catalyst to a coldie once on the forum. Load it up, that'll make you crook. But I don't think killing someone is a good idea, so maybe it wasn't the best post of mine if it was the one you're refering to!!

Yeah but CCTV and post picks on here. I'd love to have the opportunity to see them face to face one day

I absolutely hate thieving pricks. Get a job and buy it yourself[}:)]

Often they do more damage to the car then what they take. (no aspersions on your boards Dave). My niece finally bought her critically ill 12 week old boy home from Hospital only to have $300 damage done to her car for maybe $20 worth of coin[}:)]

Will be looking, Katana.
BTW, since you seem to know, for everyone's benefit, you're more than welcome to outline where a car can be parked so as to ensure CCTV sighting. Not that anyone invites me out on their vessels with them...

That board looks sick katana. What do you charge for one of em and what are the dimensions? What would suit me? I am 6 foot 2 inches at 95 kg.
Do you ride em a bit thinner due to the floatyness off epoxy?

that one in the photo is a demo 6"2 x 19 x 2 1/2 custom $750 but any seabreeze"s usually get looked after . they have around 25-30% more float so you go thinner especially in the rails.
