Seen it get nasty a few times if a group of Balinese turn up they can start blocking and burning people then turn ugly if anyone complains being an old bloke myself they tended to ignore me.

was out there about 2 weeks ago was solid 4 to 6 20 out i was the only one on my back hand fun times i manage to get 5 waves with no problems but you gotta want them

i was there in august was fun! ive surfed other breaks around there with less crowd too! hopefully theres still some solid ones about

Surfed there in March, had no problems with the locals, they're cruisy as so long as you show due respect and don't be a dickhead.

definitely worth a visit. The jaffles from the old warung are top notch too!
