1 fatal (RIP ZAC)and another minor last night ! Normally the mullet run around here is when it gets a bit spooky
You might get some more business on the east coast Katana!!
The second one sounds like it might be Brucey's little sister Wanda(wobbegong)
A few local spearos have been menaced by a big wobbe that lives on the north side ,even swam off with one of the speared fish and spear in its mouth but this incident was south of there
No too many takers this morning for a paddle across the entrance......
Might thin the crowd a bit for a while

I've heard reports of very high numbers of bait fish around the area Much higher than normal can anyone confirm that and maybe have a possible explanation as to why

News to hand is that the bites were consistent with a wobbegong shark!

^^^ hardly a shark attack, more like bad karma for eating to much fish and chips.

But still sucks, hope old mate is ok.

Normally the mullet come flying out that rivermouth and then head north up the coast...they round the corner at Point Plomer and get caught by the truckload by the local fisherman - and I mean truckload - I saw 4 trucks loaded in a day once!!!
