Why even bother with the paddle Maybe they are unreliable

Was it just me or did it look very slow on the face

I watched MacNamara ride one of these things at Off The Wall in Dec '11, Pipe was humungous and washing through and you could just see this little surfer what looked near the horizon buzzing around standing up(no paddle in hand). He then pulled into an absolute bomb much to the applaud of the bystanders on land, he copped a fair old hammering and snapped his wavejet. Looked very cool. That board was shaped more like a traditional gun though.

very slow on the face and he barely used his paddle.

The device is interchangable between differnt boards down to what looks like a quite small board.

Give it time they will get faster. Its still new technology but its a scary thought about having a bunch of these added to the line up.
