i can't believe how gender biased the Wsl is, sending the girls out in two foot slop again while all the show ponies sit on their arses, surfers like Tyler wright,Steph girl our and Carisa Moore in particular can surf rings around 80 percent of the clowns in the men's draw for sure,the whole thing stinks

I highly doubt your call on 80%. The surf yesterday was better than what they had for the mens final 2 years ago.

The girls are surfing so much better, he'll I even watch some of it now and not just for "bottom turns", but still they wouldn't be even qualifying on the men's tour.

Tyler, Steph and Carissa surf 80 percent better than most clowns in all lineups around the world.
But there's obviously still a big gap between male and female pros.
Check the men's air game for a start.

Apart from the women having pumping waves next few rounds... the WSL is one of the leaders and few sports that strives for gender equality with prize money (deserved or not). I'd put up with some blue bottles for the dosh they're on. They are also not 'sent' out. It's a collaborative decision.

If we are honest they do tend to send the girls out in lesser waves than the men on a lot of occasions.
Some of those top girls have really raised the bar and do surf a lot better than the average Joe but still not
close to the men on tour.

Would rather watch women's comps all day long, at least you get to watch some decent lines. Watching aerials in the men's comps are about as ****ing boring as it gets. Takes a slither of skill and a 5hit tonne of sheer luck. They need to stop rating them so high so we can see the blokes actually surfing.

Have to agree with Suba. The woman's surfing skill level has increased by a huge amount over the last few years.
Its great to seeing them surfing big Margs. Bigger balls than me

+1 more barrels and massive turns, airs don't do it for me (mainly cos I cant do them )

Hopefully they can improve on the judging in Margs. Even the commentary team are confused after every wave. Pottz is always "not sure if that's the score they need" because it's so inconsistent
Don't get me started on Medinas apple crumble on Slater. Interference every day of the week. A usual occurrence surfing with Brazzos
Would be also good to see The Box big and firing and have Charlie wigging out because his step child doesn't want to go out.

I always think back to that Semi at Pipe a few years ago when Gabby beat mick in the semi final to win the world title.

Mick showed amazing knowledge of the wave and unbelievable skill to make the impossible on the only wave that barreled all morning, yet only got a 7.something. Medina was doing chop hops in the kiddy pool and it cost mick the world title.
