Just a thought......

When I replay all the best and memorable surfs/waves I've had over the years back in my head It seams that Im the only one around , not another sole in sight to even see or hoot this goodness! WTF ???

Then when I boast to the boys its just like the story of "The one that got away".
Yet when I travel to these same places with a few crew its usually rated 3/5 (surf score) at its best.
Is it just me or does any one else relate to this?
Anyways Im flyin solo from here on in!!!!

i hear ya man, and that it does is indeed an undisputable fact, just like the one where the waves were always bigger and more consistant when we were younger.

it always used to peeve me that nobody saw how good it was, how deep i got, how close i had come when i was surfing solo... many a session, many seasons of sessions went down where i would wish and dare say pine for a bretheren to hoot, or a companion to appreciate the many wonderous feats that have hardened the character and deepened the soul....
and eventually they came, and claimed the many places i was to share as their own, and all but none began to surf with their heads up their own bums, and i again began to wish there was none but myself once more...
sometimes surfing sucks.... but mostly it doesn't
always fly solo

Why is it that nobody sees your good waves, only the bad ones?
The only thing better than catching a really good wave is someone seeing you but the only thing worse than a bad wave is someone seeing you!

I agree with you Kearnsy. Keep flying solo. But if your ever looking for a trustworthy surf buddy, and super stoked to give you a hoot on any wave, give me a call

When I see a bunch of people on the lookout, I just hang back for a few minutes until they p!ss orf

Ahh so Im not the only one with this wierd thing goin on!!!

Im keen as Greenie- We might have to secretly arrange to by chance or randomly meet up for a few waves some time.....

Keep it quiet tho- We dont want to Jinx it
