I've got one of these coming this week - www.moresurfboards.com/the_dumpling.html
I've looked everywhere on line and can't find a good travel cover to fit it.
Anyone have any ideas.

Hey Krispy,
I've got a JR Voodoo,, 6'2 x 211/8 x 27/8 not quite as wide as yours nor thick
but it fits into a 6'3" Creatures of Leisure "Retro Fish Travel" bag.. (rip curl shops)
there's a very tiny bit more room in there widthwise, but you'd definately have to try one before you buy one.

I was hoping to avoid dragging the board to a couple of shops for a fitting as we don't have a great selection up here, but I may have to.

Must admit I struggled myself,,, but I'm a slow learner , (luddite ,, even)
I just hit the search button,, put the name in both top and bottom , all forums, and for the last year, and it gave me a list of their posts .... I think .. I'm sure there's probably an easier way !!

By the way,, I find my new board pretty foamy,, your's might be tricky to duck dive at the end of a session unless your over 90kgs I would think?? ,,, but then again I got spaghetti arms.

I weigh in at about 96kg, so after speaking to the shaper I ended up with a 5'10".
I only got it to use in the small stuff as I can't bring myself to ride a mal, so I'll only be trying to push it under about 2' of foam.

All I can say is thank you for recommending crustt (Scott) to have a cover made.
Both price and quality are exceptional. I'll never buy a generic cover again.
Arrived in todays mail and thought I would show it off.

Fin pocket zipped down

Fin pocket unzipped

Board with fins on

The cover, Canvas outer, 10mm foam and reflective inner.
Fits like a glove.
I just unpacked and unrolled it, so it's still creased from postage.

The important bit for anyone else looking for a great cover.

Thanks, my website will be up soon, specially now that the surf in Vicco has stopped with a big thud . I am my own worst enemy, not a businessman at all, in the 80's I thought about making my covers for a living, my friend thought I should. But with 3 major cover makers at the time, thought the horse had bolted, I never imagined surfing would get so popular. Had I have had the foresight I could have sold out and have been importing covers by now, faced bankruptcy, been divorced twice, overcome a cocaine addiction and had my last surf 10 years ago.

Thanks relapse, had a few pm's for covers, any cover 6'6" and under is $110 plus postage, free leather handle for seabreezers. I just had some leather lying around from some couches I stripped, so just using it up. The dog has a leather bean bag
