So this weekend I cracked the crappy plastic fins I originally got given with my first board.

As an intermediate at 80kgs riding I ride my 7'6 on smaller days so probably now should stop being a tight arse and invest in a decent set of fins. I having no idea what size or model I should even consider for this size board - any suggestions? I have Surfinz fin boxes so can consider both FCS and Future.

I have a 6'2 with medium FCS fins but wasn't sure whether they would work as well in such a bigger board.

So Medium or Large? FCS or Future?

Thanks

Hey Katana, both would be nice, but manoeuvreability is probably the more important.

They are a good fin, I used them until I got my DHD 2.0 thruster set. If you look at the base of the rear fin and compare it to a side fin the rear is smaller, not by much. Thats why they have drive and turn well. All the Kelly Slater fins are like that as well. I might have to try them again as I havnt used them on my current board

Yep,the Kelly Fins I have don't come in large,so they were not to my liking. I have put the Kelly trailer behind the am2 and love the feeling when they are just **** around waves
I'm heavy on the back foot so a bigger fin does not really hurt me. Also I think riding a longboard makes my board seem like a 5" to me.
