I have an old steamer with a buggered zip.

Thinking of fixing the zip and converting to a short arm steamer.

Firstly, can anyone recommend a wetsuit repairer, and secondly, is it even worth it?

Cheers

Considering you can pick up spring suits on special for under $150 id guess not. I've not ever repaired a wetsuit though so have no idea on cost, but i would have thought a new zip stitched in you wouldn't get much change out of a hundred bucks

I've used JAM in Greenwood a couple of times for tears and opened seams. Good workmanship and only $30 each time. Good value if it helps get another season out of the wettie. I'm on season 3 post repair on my short arm 2mm 'steamer'.
